All about the honey Description, storage & shelf life
Raw & Unpasteurised Greek Fir Honey from Agrafa
High in the Agrafa mountains of central Greece lies one of the country's most untouched natural areas. The region is so remote that its name means "the unwritten", and for centuries it was almost inaccessible. Here, far from cities and industry, the Greek fir (Abies cephalonica) grows in pure mountain nature, and this is where this honey is made.
Fir honey is one of the rarest and most exclusive honeys in the world. It is produced in only a few mountain regions and in small quantities, and it is our most unique honey.
The texture is exceptionally thick and velvety, with a deep natural sheen. The flavour is soft and refined and less sweet than blossom honey, with delicate notes of malt, caramel and fresh resin. Fir honey does not crystallise; it stays liquid and silky smooth year after year.
The honey is raw and unpasteurised, so its natural enzymes, antioxidants and nutrients are preserved. Every jar captures the essence of Agrafa's wild fir forests: a true luxury honey for those who seek something truly exceptional.
Honey should not be given to children under 1 year of age.
Storage & shelf life
Opbevares ved stuetemperatur, tørt og med låget lukket – ikke i køleskab. Rå honning kan krystallisere; det er helt naturligt. Sæt glasset i lunkent vand (under 40 °C), så bliver den flydende igen.
